This ESL worksheet offers 9 neatly formatted, fun role plays for your ESL class, for example the fortune teller tells the fortune of his/her client. Includes a vocabulary list.
Other pedagogical goals
There are some fun situations, e.g. fortune teller tells client's future.
To play role plays students need to use their imagination to put themselves in the shoes of the characters. Students will find some of the role plays strange and surprising (e.g. your son/daughter is dressed up as a diver in the bathroom - negotiate with him/her to take it off and bathe), while others will seem familiar, e.g. coming up with an excuse why you don't have the homework finished.
The above lesson is a great teaching resource for:Elementary (A1), Pre-intermediate (A2), Intermediate (B1)
