VALENTINE'S DAY - Flash cards (Set 2)

Some basic images associated with St Valentine's Day. First, they replace the missing vowels and then they put the right number in the shapes provided. They can then choose images they like and design a Valentine's card.

This is a picture dictionary for Valentine's Day lesson. There are the most common words that you can use to practice and play with.  You can cut it and make flashcards or separate words and pictures to practice matching activity. Hope you enjoy it.

Valentine's Day Vocabulary

You can do a lot of activities with these flash cards. You may print them and cut into separate cards or use them like a vocabulary list to introduce and study new words or to practice spelling.



You may use these cards for different vocabulary games and speaking activities such as memory and concentration, word identification (when one student describes the chosen word and others try to guess its name), also children can practice different sorting games with Valentine\'s vocabulary.

Use language flexibly and effectively for social, academic and professional purposes. Understand a wide range of demanding, longer texts. Produce clear, well-structured, detailed text on complex subjects, using linking phrases (=words that connect ideas between sentences). Main grammar points to know: inversion, mixed conditionals, modals in the past, all passive forms, phrasal verbs (all patterns), wish/if only for regrets

Learners who can smoothly communicate in every walk of life, read long texts and write well

Learners taking the C2 Proficient exam should be able to:<ul><li>Understand almost everything read or heard with ease.</li><li>Summarize information from a variety of sources into a coherent presentation.</li><li>Express themselves using precise meaning in complex scenarios.</li><li>Can express him/herself spontaneously, very fluently and precisely, differentiating finer shades of meaning even in the most complex situations</li></ul>
