This is a listening activity to be developed while the song plays. DJ Alok and Ina Wroldsen recorded this song that talks about the 'favela', typical slums/guettos in Brazil, specially in Rio de Janeiro. Teachers can introduce the theme with one previous activity - FAVELA PRE-LISTENING - and ask to students to listen and fill in the gaps. This song can be discussed as an example of social problems in the world.

The present downloadable worksheet is meant for at Elementary (A1) level. It was designed for developing your groups' Listening skills. It centers around the topic and words of Human rights, racism, discrimination.
