Listening Activity, using a youtube link from the Olympic Channel. I had my students watch the link and try to fill in the blanks and then answer the questions. The video also has captions so I added the captions later for the students to check if their answers were right. Then I had the students look at the letters in bold and try to understand what they meant based on the text. I used this worksheet with 15 year olds who spoke pretty good English. It was a good way for them to learn new phrases, and get used to listening to someone speaking rather fast and try to understand what he was saying.

The above downloadable handout is best suited for at Upper-intermediate (B2) level. It is a valuable material for improving your learners' Listening skills. It focuses on the topic and words of Olympics.
