This slide presents the use of there is, there are and questions with How many..? to talk about wild animals quantity. It also includes questions with "where" and prepositions in, on, under, next to to talk about animals' location. It has some oral tasks to practice. I hope you find it useful :)

Simple Present information questions wh

The presentation shows some types of questions in English. After a brief demonstration of the types, students have to complete some tasks. 



First, they just should name the question type of each sentence. 



Then they have to fill in the gaps using an appropriate question form.



 After that, they should make questions for the underlined words in sentences. 



The last task is for the production stage. Students choose two categories and make 4 types of questions for each of the chosen categories. When they're ready, they should ask the questions to their partner. 



Sample questions for each category are provided.

Questions words exercise- Students are delivered cards written on questions words ( what, where, who, how, why when) and the ppt is opened and question is showed. The students try to find the correct answer and show the card at the same time when the teacher say 'raise your answers'.
