This a speaking activitiy that aims to get the student(s) to review The Present Simple tense, The Past Simple and The Present perfect simple. 


It is very interactive and it makes English language learners think how they are going to form questions based on the structure of the answers given.

Making Questions Using Mixed Tenses

In this exercise the focus is on meaning and context. Each of the 30 slides contains a gapped sentence. Students should think of a question to find the missing information. More than one answer is often possible and students are encouraged to use compound question words (what books, what time, etc).

Ppt is created to practice the skills of animals recognition and the target phrase "Whose eye is it?" - "It is the eye of ... " or " It ...'s eye". Very good classroom excersise

This is the presentation I prepared for lower-level students (A1-A2) to practice distingushing between verb TO BE and other verbs when asking questions. There is no gramar explanation, each slide contains a gapped sentence prompting the students to ask the correct question to get the missing info. With a small class or when teaching one-to-one I use each slide as a conversation topic.
