The objective of this lessons is to have the students describe what they see. The pictures are photoshopped and they can use lines as: it looks like, I think that, there is, there are, etc. It is supposed to be an interactive lesson, in which the teacher and the student can talk about what the student is describing and what he thinks about the picture.

This downloadable handout is best suited for at Advanced (C1) and Upper-intermediate (B2) level. It is great for consolidating Formal and informal English (politeness or colloquial language), There is / there are / there was / there were / there will be, etc., Verb tenses, Word classes and Word formation in English, and is useful for developing your students' Speaking skills. It is focused on the vocabulary topic of Ability and Storytelling.
