A very basic first worksheet covering positive and negative forms of the verb 'to be', ie was and were, wasn't and weren't. There are no question forms.
At the top of the sheet the forms are given in both positive and negative forms, with a singular and plural layout.
The first exercise is on positives and the second on negatives. The final exercise is jumpled with ticks and crosses indicating whether the answer should be positive or negative.

The present downloadable printable was created for at Beginner (pre-A1) level. It is a useful material for revising BE: WAS or WERE in English, and was designed for strengthening your groups' Reading skills.
