Present Simple in Fairyland

It is a power point with a brief explanation about the simple present with verb to be and with other verbs, including an explanation about the conjugation with  the third person, and the endings with some exceptional verbs such as those ending in sh, ch, o, and Y when there is a consonant before the Y.



There are some examples of the conjugation in positive, negative and interrogative forms. You can also make some exercises asking your students to make some sentences conjugating some verbs in order to practice the topic.

Vocabulary - Jobs - An ESL/ELL Lesson Plan

I have selected 10 Easter symbols that I wanted to teach my young learners through online classes.

First, I showed them the pictures one by one. After each picture that I have presented, we went back to the previous ones to repeat them in a mixed order. 

Second, we played the mini game presented on the slides.

Third, after the ppt presentation, I placed the symbols on a virtual whiteboard and reviewed the prepositions of place(on, in, under, next to) with them. (each student had the opportunity to place 2-3 pictures on the virtual whiteboard). This activity was followed by a worksheet (Easter card) and then with an ending game.

Easter symbols

This is a very useful powerpoint concerning pictures that start with each alphabet letter. The little ones love it every time i show it to them and they all call out the words

My alphabet

Remove the shapes one by one 
to open the picture of the animal.
Each student has 6 points in the beginning.
To remove one shape he has to pay 1 point.
The student who guesses the animal with the 
lowest loss of the points wins.

It ıs a ppt slide with sound of the ınstruments and pictures of them. You can add or remove some of them to adapt it to your own plan. Also you can adapt it to some kind of game first listen then try to guess type of game.

Musical Instruments

“read my lips” is a great game for practicing sentences, speaking and writing. It's simple and can be used with all grammar points and vocabulary. 1. Each student needs paper and a pen to write. 2. One student comes to the front of the class and mouths a sentence to the other students. The other students must write down what they think the student said. 3. Try this activity in groups and pairs.

you need some laundry pegs, cut  the words, laminate the words and with some glue paste them  on the pegs. cut and laminate the wheels of verbs. The pupils need to match the word to its picture.
