The first part of downloadable printable material for teaching reading young learners (sometimes with special educational needs, learning difficulties, e.g. dyslexia)  is meant for elementary school Beginner (pre-A1), Elementary (A1). This template helps them to read words with similar sounds (letters). Such tasks helps students to obtain more confident and fluent reading skills.

This Power point presentation was created for young students. It is based on the cartoon "Muzzy in Gondoland". In the presentation there is an extract which is related to the theme "I've got". Students watch the extract and then make uo sentences to the slides. Children start their sentences with "I've got". A teacher should explain the difference between "I've got a/an" and "I've got some -s". The activity in this ppt is rather interesting for kids.

This is a presentation about No Smoking Day 2018.

It involves reading about the day and answering questions.

The questions are split into 2 levels.

The students then think about why smoking is bad for your health.

The last slide gives some examples of why it is.



This presentation can be adjusted for different levels and changed for each year in the future for No Smoking Day.
