In inflected languages, we do not depend on the word order to understand which noun is the subject of a sentence and which is the object. The endings tell us immediately. In English, the order of words is essential to the meaning of a sentence. We have to distinguish carefully between the subject-group and the verb-group (or predicate). The predicate is what is said about the subject, i.e. it is all the words in a sentence except the subject.

The Sentence and Word Order

In this ppt we will teach kids animals like cat. Dog.  Tiger. Elephant. Lion. Bird. Horse 



Bug. Then we will use this to practice proposition like in   On. Under. And others.

Diagraphs TIC TAC TOE

This  will be useful for introducing  the  verb forms to the students. It can also be used for recapitulating the verbs forms  which have been  taught  to  the  students  in  the  classroom 

Verb forms

This dialog tries to introduce a few challenging vocabulary terms and a couple of longer, more sustained sentences.  It may include some attempts at humor.  I\'ll usually read through it myself and have students translate into their own language to build comprehension, and then we\'ll take turns reading/playing the different roles.

4. Each page with the grammar rules contains a lot of unfilled spaces. Encourage your pupils to take their notes, paste stickers with their comments and highlight the key elements in the text. Let them be creative and embellish their pages the way they want to.
