The Internet is a global network of billions of computers and other electronic devices. With the Internet, it's possible to access almost any information, communicate with anyone else in the world, and do much more.

You can do all of this by connecting a computer to the Internet, which is also called going online. When someone says a computer is online, it's just another way of saying it's connected to the Internet.



What is the Internet?

Students have to guess the idiom according to the images. An Idiom is a group of words in a fixed order that have a particular meaning that is different from the meanings of each word on its own.

This pptx can be included when dealing with the topic of free time (sport) or health. Students can see different extreme sports and they discuss the questions they have on the last slide. Health and extreme sports overlap when talking about the effects of sports on health and the the rush of adrenaline that extreme sports cause to your body.
