28 instruments are shown but can you match them to the 20 instruments you will hear (from a youtube video). Its not as easy as it looks ! 
 


Play the PPT in presentation mode and the answer slide will show the answers in order with animation.
The last slide has some additional questions and answers about some of the instruments not heard.

Sounds of musical instruments -

In this lesson, students will learn one of the vowel sounds in English, and they will practice listening to different sounds that are very often mistaken for the sound ae. Also, the student will watch and listen to the song of a very famous band Roxette, and read transcription, play a guessing game, and practice speaking words containing the main sound of today as well as watch videos and stories to practice listening and speaking skills. Learn how the sound is made and what muscles we use to create the sound.

Students have to watch the video and fill in the gaps. The words range from Can/Do/don't/Pronouns. Sort of a review ! The worksheet will be uploaded to my profile as well! The PPT includes the answer key all ready for class!

Frankie Vallie - Can't take my eyes off of you

Students listen to the song "All of Me" by John Legend (on youyube) and need to fill in the missing lyrics. The PPT uses animation to show the lyrics. There are 25 missing lyrics in total

Pronouns with "As it was" by Harry Styles

Tutor plays the song and the students need to listen for the missing lyrics. There are 25 in total. The hidden lyrics are revealed starting at slide 9. Since the song is from 1979 some of the language is a bit dated (chicks and squeeze) but its a good conversation starter. Might be easier to play the song from your phone and display the ppt on a PC.
