This powerpoint has many exercises. Basically, children have to answer questions, make affirmative and negative sentences with the past simple of the verb to be according to the pictures shown and the help of the cues.

This exercises also combines this grammar point with the vocabulary of places and the days of the week.

This is really intended for teaching English as a foreign language. I use it for teaching Middle school, level 2. Of course for English speakers it could be used at a much lower level. It take the student through the whole process of arriving at the airport to when they go through emigration in another country. I also get the students to do a role play with the three areas of dialogue.
