I created a ppt which focuses on delving into the topic of weather and climate. It consists of diverse speaking tasks (picture descriptions, a mock debate, a role play task, discussion questions, etc.) I hope you will enjoy it. :)

- EXTRA: THEY CAN RESEARCH ABOUT OTHER INSPIRATIONAL FIGURES SUCH AS ROSA PARKS.

Climate Change - conversation class based on video

Think Tac Toe is a differentiation strategy that provides 9 options of tasks for students related to the topic of climate change/environment (One of the Global Goals). The options were designed according to the 8 types of multiple intelligence. There are examples provided for each option as well as a reading text related to the topic. A simple powerpoint I used to introduce the topic "Environment". My purpose was to show my students some of the environmental problems we face today.

Use language flexibly and effectively for social, academic and professional purposes. Understand a wide range of demanding, longer texts. Produce clear, well-structured, detailed text on complex subjects, using linking phrases (=words that connect ideas between sentences). Main grammar points to know: inversion, mixed conditionals, modals in the past, all passive forms, phrasal verbs (all patterns), wish/if only for regrets

Learners who can smoothly communicate in every walk of life, read long texts and write well

Learners taking the C2 Proficient exam should be able to:<ul><li>Understand almost everything read or heard with ease.</li><li>Summarize information from a variety of sources into a coherent presentation.</li><li>Express themselves using precise meaning in complex scenarios.</li><li>Can express him/herself spontaneously, very fluently and precisely, differentiating finer shades of meaning even in the most complex situations</li></ul>
