This PPT is designed to revise some modal verbs. First slide gives students some information about their form.

The next slides focus on their meaning. Through example sentences students can revise what modal verbs can express, like possibility, ability, permission, etc. So I've grouped them according to their meaning. Hope you find it useful.

In these slides; there are some modal verbs, you can teach your students, how they can use those modal verbs using the description and the examples, in the end of this section there are the affirmative, negative and interrogative form of each modal verb. And a note talking about May and Might negative form.

You start with the task where students should guess modal verbs, then you have to explain what is a modal verb (the definition) and then speak about their usage in details. 



The last part of the presentation is "check yourself".

Produce clear, well-structured, detailed text on complex subjects, using linking phrases (=words that connect ideas between sentences). Main grammar points to know: inversion, mixed conditionals, modals in the past, all passive forms, phrasal verbs (all patterns), wish/if only for regrets

Learners who can smoothly communicate in every walk of life, read long texts and write well
