It's a good way of teaching the Past simple tense. There are interactive activities in which students are expected to talk to themselves

Simple past tense

In this PPT students have to speak about a given topic for one minute.

Rules

Students have to choose a number and click on it. It will take them to a ”Talk for one minute about…” slide. Click on the arrow to start the minute timer. The student has to talk for one minute about that topic. When the time is over, click on the BACK square. It will take you back to slide 2. A new student can choose another number. There are 12 slides with 12 different topics.



Talk for one minute

This is a Powerpoint presentation on subject and object pronouns. The students should choose the right option to complete the sentence. If the option is right the pencil will circle it. If the option is wrong the pencil will erase it.

The aim of this PowerPoint is to present some basic greetings and farewells, and teach students to introduce themselves and talk about their names, surnames, age and the place where they live.

Every slide has a debate statement. Students must state if they agree or if they disagree. They must then explain why they agree or disagree. This helps generate debate and discussion.
