There are many basic vebs with pictures to be used with beginner students or even with other levels. It's like a pictionary but in a power point. It can be used to practice different verb tenses, or just review vocabulary.

Explaining what a verb is in a sentence with moving pictures. I get the students to do a storyboard activity of what they will do on the weekend. I have some of them read their storyboards to the class. I then finish off with a game of pictionary. You will need to make some simple flash cards for this game. 

Verbs is an action word. A word used to describe an action, state, or occurrence, and forming the main part of the predicate of a sentence.This is animated, basic and fun. It will make your student enjoy learning at the same time. Make it a point to review the words after you've finished every words and you may also extend it by using the words in their own sentences.

This PPT talks about Verbs. A verb is a word that expresses:

A physical action, A mental action, A state of being. You might find it useful to think of verbs as "doing" words.

This is a powerpoint that takes different basic verbs and show students how they are used and associated with other words. Verbs are not alone they are used with more words to make a more interesting sentence.

This ppt was designed to present some basic verbs before starting to work with Present Simple. For the sheets I used the figure of Garfield who is well-known both for  young learners, and older students.
