This Pptx contains photos which are first half hidden and in the following slide revealed. Students are asked to guess what the people on the photos are doing by using modal verbs of deduction (must, might, can't, couldn't + infinitive). After a short discussion the entire photo is revealed.

The ppt presentation gives your students a chance to practise using the modals of deduction - must and can't. They read the given sentence on each slide. Then they try to make both positive (must) and negative (can't) speculation about the people. The example is provided.
