A POWERPOINT ABOUT THE TOPIC: FURNITURE. STUDENTS EXAMINE THE PICTURE AND THEN TICK THE CORRECT ANSWER FOR EACH QUESTION ABOUT ITS OBJECTS.




PPT - Mary's bedroom

The presentation to teach furniture in a bedroom. It has 2 parts - the first part is for teaching pieces of furniture and the second is a picture description. It's possible to practise prepositions as well.

My Bedroom

This is a ppt game for primary school students to practise prepositions of place (in, on, under, near, between) and the vocabulary on topic My Home. Students are to a find Froggy in the room and say where it is.

In this ppt students have to use prepositions of place in sentences based on a given picture. Later, they have to remember and use there is / there are structure in sentences.

1. Name all the things in the picture and the items around the outside. Make a list of new vocab. 
Note: Furniture words used in instructions later: cabinet, sofa, chair, table, shelf

2. Get the students to read the instructions and move the items to the correct place - either with screen remote control or by drawing circles (annotations in most video conferencing software). You can layer the items as necessary with send to back/bring to front as the students instruct you.

3. Hide the vocab and the instructions and ask the students to describe the room back to you. Focus on is/are for singular plurals as well as correct prepositions. Ask 'where' questions to prompt if necessary.
