Adjectives Ending in ED and ING

It is a monolingual group of 15 adult learners at the CEFR pre-intermediate level. Some of them are university students, but they are all of similar abilities. Some of them are auditory and visual learners. They are having these lessons as part of a TEFL course, so they are volunteer students. They love reading, learning about grammar and drawing. They want to learn English for different reasons like travelling, working abroad and improve their teaching skills.

Comparative Adjectives

Tells us what something is like. They are the same in the singular and the plural. They come before a noun or after the verb to be.

Describing activity (easy)

This is primarily about various qualities that make up the character trait of kindness. It is a vocabulary development ppt. You might make a list of these verbs and qualities and after going through the PPT students can do an art project illustrating a quality. Or groups can draw a cartoon showing the quality.

Main grammar points to know: inversion, mixed conditionals, modals in the past, all passive forms, phrasal verbs (all patterns), wish/if only for regrets

Learners who can smoothly communicate in every walk of life, read long texts and write well
