EASTER - vocabulary

With this presentation, the student will be able to learn some vocabulary related to the Easter season as well as play noghts and crosses and sing a few songs.



EASTER 

The objective of this presentation is to show and practice the vocabulary of words related to Easter. There are 25 Easter words students can learn to understand activities related to Easter.

With this slide, we discussed Easter facts I also presented them some vocabulary related to this holiday and we finished the class with a game "draw and guess" where the students should draw something using the vocabularies they learned in class.

Easter Matching Game - Easy and Fun

I have selected 10 Easter symbols that I wanted to teach my young learners through online classes.

First, I showed them the pictures one by one. After each picture that I have presented, we went back to the previous ones to repeat them in a mixed order. 

Second, we played the mini game presented on the slides.

Third, after the ppt presentation, I placed the symbols on a virtual whiteboard and reviewed the prepositions of place(on, in, under, next to) with them. (each student had the opportunity to place 2-3 pictures on the virtual whiteboard). This activity was followed by a worksheet (Easter card) and then with an ending game.

Learners taking the C1 Advanced exam should be able to: Express ideas fluently and spontaneously without much obvious searching for expressions. Use language flexibly and effectively for social, academic and professional purposes. Understand a wide range of demanding, longer texts. Produce clear, well-structured, detailed text on complex subjects, using linking phrases (=words that connect ideas between sentences). Main grammar points to know: inversion, mixed conditionals, modals in the past, all passive forms, phrasal verbs (all patterns), wish/if only for regrets

Learners who can smoothly communicate in every walk of life, read long texts and write well

Learners taking the C2 Proficient exam should be able to:<ul><li>Understand almost everything read or heard with ease.</li><li>Summarize information from a variety of sources into a coherent presentation.</li><li>Express themselves using precise meaning in complex scenarios.</li><li>Can express him/herself spontaneously, very fluently and precisely, differentiating finer shades of meaning even in the most complex situations</li></ul>
