This presentation contains a wide range of activities which are related to the celebration of Thanksgiving in the United States of America.

Firstly, students will learn some vocabulary which will be used in other activities and games

Secondly, they will learn the origins and history of Thanksgiving and some traditions associated to this important celebration.

Thirdly, they will listen to, sing along and dance a few Thanksgiving songs.

Finally, they will be able to put their creativity into practice by doing arts and crafts.

This is a Power Point Show with pictures and vocabulary related to Thanksgiving. It is to be used as introduction to other activities about this holiday. 

A suggestion is to show the pictures first and elicit the vocabulary from the students before showing the word.

It is also good to practice pronunciation.

Produce clear, well-structured, detailed text on complex subjects, using linking phrases (=words that connect ideas between sentences). Main grammar points to know: inversion, mixed conditionals, modals in the past, all passive forms, phrasal verbs (all patterns), wish/if only for regrets

Learners who can smoothly communicate in every walk of life, read long texts and write well
