Horrid Henry is planning his birthday party. Every year it goes so badly that his parents say, never again! This year, he decides he wants to go to Lazer Zap, a laser-tag business. However, when the lady rings up to confirm the booking, and she realizes it is for Henry, the party is cancelled.

Henry ends up having the party at home, with old fashioned games such as Pass the Parcel and Musical Statues. Henry is as rude as ever, making nasty comments about the presents, putting his guests down if they win the games, and just being generally horrid.

Later, Henry sprays the guests with the Super Soaker 2000 that Ralph gave him, leading to Mum and Dad to send him to his room, the latter saying "This is your last party ever!". However, Henry didn't care, for they said that every year.
