The students watch a 16: 27 minute long video :
featuring a video of a train trip from Toronto to Vancouver. Prices are listed, along with timetables. There are 9 questions about the video that your students can answer after watching. This is for my "travel english" ESL video adult class, I would say at intermediate level. Obviously the students have to be able to read english.
You can design additional questions around prices for different classes, in addition to questions regarding the timetable, or the train trip itself.
Most answers are self evident from the video, or are posted in writing in the video. They are also listed on page 6.
For those interested in Canadian train travel the worksheet should quite appealing.
