Language Functions - Changing the subject. Play a game where one S tells a story or sg. that happened to them, and their partner picks a card and switches topics using an appropriate phrase. They do this back and forth until they run out of cards. You can create cards with recently learnt vocabulary to revise the words. Then before switching topics the S has to pick a vocabulary card too and raise a new topic related to that word.
