I typically give this as homework on Monday for students to bring in on Friday (for example).  It's a guided sheet for students to write about a dish from their country.  Students should choose a traditional dish and describe its taste, the ingredients, how it's made, and why they like it.  If they want extra points, they can make the food at home and bring it in to share with the class!  This is a great companion worksheet to go with a "food" unit.
