A quick over view for learners to keep in their folders for reference. Can also be used as a teaching aid for basic explanation to support other worksheets and board work.

Future Simple Basic View

This worksheet was created as an oral exam/presentation. It complements the ppt called "Used to vs will be" which you can find in this website too. 



The objective was to make the students create their own sentences based on their experiences and expectations and to put into practice their speaking skills. 



The presentation can be done individually and if it's used as an oral exam it can be done in pairs as a dialogue. For instance:



Student 1: What did you use to do when you were 5 years old? 

Student 2: When I was 5 years old I used to...

And then student 2 asks to student 1 a question (and so forth).



Also, another way to practice (or evaluate) could be as an interview with the teacher following the previous example.

*You can also make your students read their sentences and there you would be assessing reading and speaking skills

Oral presentation: used to vs will be

This is an entertaining song for teaching future continuous and future simple. Students have to listen to the song and put the lyrics in the correct order. If you have a strong group, they can write their own lyrics of the song and sing along. Hope u like it! :)

Main grammar points to know: inversion, mixed conditionals, modals in the past, all passive forms, phrasal verbs (all patterns), wish/if only for regrets

Learners who can smoothly communicate in every walk of life, read long texts and write well
