Shows a list of words that vary only by one vowel sound.
/ɒ/ (short 'o') and /əʊ/ (long 'o).

This can be used to help students understand the different pronunciations and practice the different words.

IPA transcription of the words is included.

There is also a flashcard set available >> https://en.islcollective.com/english-esl-powerpoints/grammar/phonetics/minimal-pairs-and-e/143492

The above downloadable printable is a great resource for at Elementary (A1) and Intermediate (B1) level. It is great for teaching Phonetics (pronunciation, IPA, phonetic symbols) in English, and is useful for developing your class' Speaking skills. It is focused on the topic and words of Words easily confused.
