I made this document to support learners in practicing the communicative function of giving directions. It provides a formula to form directions, examples of the formula in use, and a task for students to practice giving directions. Key location terms are listed in both American and British English. Enjoy!

The above downloadable teaching material is intended for at Pre-intermediate (A2) level. It is a useful material for teaching Present simple tense, Word order, Prepositions of place, Punctuation: Commas and Prepositions: Double prepositions (e.g. out of) in English, and is useful for honing your pupils' Writing skills. It is about the topic and words of Actions, American/British English, City, Holidays, London, Travel, Means of transport, United Kingdom, Culture, intercultural communication, cross-cultural communication, Tourism and United States of America (USA).
