Most used English phrasal verbs with explanations in English in one table. You will find different phrasal verbs unterpretation and examples for each ennumerated phrasal verb.

Phrasal verbs 

This is a memory game. Cut out each square and have students turn them upside down on their desk. Students take turns picking up two cards and turning them over for everyone to see. If the student picks up a verb and noun form of a word (for example. inform-information) they keep the cards as a pair. The student who has the most pairs when all cards have been turned over is the winner.

Bruno Mars fill in the gap 

Song activity. Students have to fill in the gaps with missing words and put the sentences into correct order according to the song. Enjoy it. Key is not included.

Backstreet boys - incomplete

Listening practice with Mystery of Love by Sufjan Stevens. Students are required to fill in the blanks or choose the right word while listening to the song. Teachers can have students look through the lyrics before listening, especially with beginners. After one listening, students can read the lyrics out loud.

Keep away, keep on, keep off, keep up with, let down, let out of, pick on, pick out, pick up. Cut the cards and let your students match the phrasal verb with its meaning. Then print the cards for your students to fill in the gaps with the right preposition.
