The 1st page contains 16 past simple cards, and the 2nd page contains their present tense equivalents. You can play "go fish" or "snap" etc. Print on card or laminate.

Learning the Past Simple Tense with the lyrics of a famous song: "I Knew You Were Trouble" by Taylor Swift. Useful to understand the words sung in the song, to practise regular and irregular verbs in Past Simple and to practise the translation.

Love is all around and students can practice their logical thinking (or what´s left with all the hormons). They have to find information from the text and fill in the table. Students can work alone or in pairs to solve this logical.

Produce clear, well-structured, detailed text on complex subjects, using linking phrases (=words that connect ideas between sentences). Main grammar points to know: inversion, mixed conditionals, modals in the past, all passive forms, phrasal verbs (all patterns), wish/if only for regrets

Learners who can smoothly communicate in every walk of life, read long texts and write well

Learners taking the C2 Proficient exam should be able to:<ul><li>Understand almost everything read or heard with ease.</li><li>Summarize information from a variety of sources into a coherent presentation.</li><li>Express themselves using precise meaning in complex scenarios.</li><li>Can express him/herself spontaneously, very fluently and precisely, differentiating finer shades of meaning even in the most complex situations</li></ul>
