I have created this worksheet to practice the past simple with my students. First, there are two pre-listening activities: the first one is a chart that students will have to fill with the past simple and past pasticiple form of some verbs given. They will use the past simple form of the verbs to fill the gaps in the song. Secondly, there is a matching activity in which they have to match some expressions to their meaning. I have selected these expressions as students may find them a bit difficult for their level. Finally, you will find the lyrics of the song with some gaps that have to be filled by the students using the verbs from exercise 1. 

At the end of the file you will find the key.
