Fun Listening Activity for people new to English who are learning verbs and improving their vocabulary with the help of Moana. I teach Elementary so I focused on Present Simple for the 3rd person for the students to practice spelling correctly. The doc contains other activities for listening such as fill in the gaps with the correct words.

A good activity for "Simple Present" practice and listening skills. It's a very simple song for beginners or elementary students. You can use it in class or set it as homework.

The aim of this worksheet is to keep in practice the of the Simple Present by listening to the choiced song. 

 

Listening (bottom up and top down exercise) and grammar  exercise according to the song RIDE-TWENTY-ONE PILOTS . 



It's commendable to complete the listening exercises while the students are listening this song. You should do these exercises three times each one. Then, socialize its answers. And, the students should complete the articles with Simple Present structure. 



If you prefer, you should ask your students to translate the little fragment to their mother language and/or debate, or do a reading exercise.

Annoying Orange parodies the song Friday by Rebecca Black. This accompanies the video Annoying Orange Freaky Fryday. The song is written in the present simple and present continuous tense. Students can provide their own examples of what they do on Fridays. A good idiom to learn is TGIF. (Thank god it's Friday).
