A song fill-in-the-blank exercise for Maroon Five Animals.  Maroon 5 is a very popular group with college students in Asia.  WARNING: Video is somewhat graphic and gross (blood, meat, and partial nudity covered in blood).  If you are in the USA, you can download the live SNL performance. Students watch the video and on their handout they tick off the actions they could notice in the video. There's also a listening exercise for the briefing of participants and specatators' comments. Frozen Grand Central Flashmob - Noticing Game

This worksheet will help your students to practice Present simple and Present Continuous in a fun way by getting acquainted with Shrek's routine.

There are two parts which students are to complete. The first one is that you help your students with understanding the sentences. Then you ask them to think of the possible order of the actions on their own before watching the video. After that you listen to their ideas and compare them. Next, students watch an episode and make the right oder of the sentences. After that, ask your students to change the tense into Present Continuous.

This exercises the students have to answer the questions about the Backstreet Boys' Video "As long as you love me", the subject is about describing the clothes people are wearing and what are they doing!

This is an activity to be used along with the Everybody Hates Chris' episode "Everybody Hates the English Teacher" (found HERE: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MRExoizkiBw)



You may use it in two ways:



1. If you have a big class AND have the time (the episode alone is about 20 minutes, but the activity may take longer): have your students sit back to back in pairs - one of them facing the television, the other on the back to him/her. Both have the worksheet. The student facing the television should tell the student behind him/her what's happening according to the sentences on the sheet, so that both can check the correct sentences. By the middle of the video, they may change places, and continue.

2. You may simply handle them the worksheets and have them checking the correct sentences according to the video. It's up to you! Have fun!
