I made this worksheet so as to help students with one of the most difficult topic that they have to deal with, when they study English. The pronunciation of regular verbs in past simple tense! The worksheet consistes on a brief and clear grammar explanation, a great deal of examples and finally some exercises to practice.

Pronunciation of Regular Verbs

learners have to conjugate the verbs given with:she, he, it and write them in the appropriate column according to the pronunciation of the final "s"

pronunciation of the final 

helps students know when to pronounce the "ed" at the end of past tense verb as /id/, /t/, or /d/

Regular Past Tense pronunciation

This worksheet is designed to practice and correct pronunciation. Read the sentences and have students  repeat contrasting  sounds, focusing on the difference in context . Some I wrote myself others are either nursery rhymes or tongue twisters.

Produce clear, well-structured, detailed text on complex subjects, using linking phrases (=words that connect ideas between sentences). Main grammar points to know: inversion, mixed conditionals, modals in the past, all passive forms, phrasal verbs (all patterns), wish/if only for regrets

Learners who can smoothly communicate in every walk of life, read long texts and write well

Learners taking the C2 Proficient exam should be able to:<ul><li>Understand almost everything read or heard with ease.</li><li>Summarize information from a variety of sources into a coherent presentation.</li><li>Express themselves using precise meaning in complex scenarios.</li><li>Can express him/herself spontaneously, very fluently and precisely, differentiating finer shades of meaning even in the most complex situations</li></ul>
