This is a pictionary about emergency vocabulary. For each type of emergency, you will find the names of the building, the vehicle, the people and some accessories.

I made it to make the reading of a book entitled "Emergency!" easier, but it can be used without the book.

Here you have two situations for role-plays that can be used either as an oral exam or to practice in class. In pairs, each students will have a role (the witness of an accident calling the emergency services or the emergency service worker). 

I gave students 5-10 minutes to think what they had to talk about and how they were going to develop the dialogue. 

This is useful in order to evaluate speaking competences.

This bingo game was designed to revise the vocabulary the children discovered when I read them "Emergency!" (buildings such as the fire station, the police station..., people such as policeman, firefighter..., vehicles such as ambulance, fire truck... and accessories such as handcuffs, fire hose...) However it can be used without the book.

Emergency drills

This lesson discusses emerging technologies, cites examples and invites students to express their beliefs about them. We could go on to compare and contrast and see who is in favor or who is against them. This is basically for engineering students.

This is the first set of dominoes to introduce the vocabulary of health, emergency situations and treatment to play a game of loto about shops and facilities. When taking a card, the player says where he goes and why.  It enables to practise the present simple and  express cause as well as talk about health, treatment and emergency situations.

I find many of my SS do not pay attention to the fact it needs to be in block capitals even though most form ask for this

Produce clear, well-structured, detailed text on complex subjects, using linking phrases (=words that connect ideas between sentences). Main grammar points to know: inversion, mixed conditionals, modals in the past, all passive forms, phrasal verbs (all patterns), wish/if only for regrets

Learners who can smoothly communicate in every walk of life, read long texts and write well

Learners taking the C2 Proficient exam should be able to:<ul><li>Understand almost everything read or heard with ease.</li><li>Summarize information from a variety of sources into a coherent presentation.</li><li>Express themselves using precise meaning in complex scenarios.</li><li>Can express him/herself spontaneously, very fluently and precisely, differentiating finer shades of meaning even in the most complex situations</li></ul>
