Reading Lesson - Jobs That Help Us

I created this worksheet (part 2) for my beginner ESOL group who will be working on the theme of " Jobs". After working on the names of different jobs in English, they will learn different verbs that go with these jobs.

In pairs or individually, students write down the good points of their given job (good pay, independence, sociability, etc), then swap their job sheet for another and write down a good point for the next job.  Remind them to be original!  Repeat until every child has had a look at every job.  This activity can be used for a debate on which jobs are best / worst in the second half of the lesson, but also works well on its own.
