The quiz will help advanced students test themselves on their knowledge of prepositions and take it a step further.

Advanced prepositions 

Another phrasal verb exercise about the preposition down. Once again, it might be an idea to use this with adults only as the story at the end is a tad racy. There is a bingo exercise to help consolidate the vocabulary and the answers are at the back.

I created this worksheet as icebreaker activity but you can use it like you want. Students compete the chart choosing picturA or B, colour following the numbers and answer the questions using prepositions of place( in,on under, behind, next to, in front of, you can add more questions of course!). I hope you like it!

Produce clear, well-structured, detailed text on complex subjects, using linking phrases (=words that connect ideas between sentences). Main grammar points to know: inversion, mixed conditionals, modals in the past, all passive forms, phrasal verbs (all patterns), wish/if only for regrets

Learners who can smoothly communicate in every walk of life, read long texts and write well

Learners taking the C2 Proficient exam should be able to:<ul><li>Understand almost everything read or heard with ease.</li><li>Summarize information from a variety of sources into a coherent presentation.</li><li>Express themselves using precise meaning in complex scenarios.</li><li>Can express him/herself spontaneously, very fluently and precisely, differentiating finer shades of meaning even in the most complex situations</li></ul>
