PRESENT TENSES

The idea is to practise both tenses and understand the difference between them. Students complete the sentences and compare their answers. It is a typical grammar drill to revise present perfect tenses.

Present Perfect Simple or Present Perfect Continuous

Students practise the use of future tenses (Present Simple, Present Continuous, Future Simple, be going to) by completing the sentences. A good exercise to revise the future tenses.

Future tenses

This worksheet is supposed to be a summary of Present Simple and Continuous tense. The first exercise is focused on Present Simple form, the second one on Present Continuous. The third exercise is a mixture of both tenses and learners have to decide which one it is and complete the sentences with the correct verb form. Key is included. 

Present Simple, Continuous and contrast

Students have to put the verbs into the correct tense: Present simple, present continuous,  past simple, past continuous or present perfect.

MIXED TENSES

Complete the sentences with the verbs in brackets. Use the present simple, the present continuous, the future simple (will), the future continuous, the future perfect and be going to + infinitive.
