This is for practice with letters. The children attempting should be at least a little familiar with the words on the paper. The hint at the top gives them a starting point. I suggest not handing out page 2 until the group or child says that they have solved everything. That way they can double check. Although with younger children, perhaps both at once would work well.

This is slightly harder than the first one, if you ask the children to identify the meaning of the word as well.
