A boardgame to practise ´Would you like a/some ...?´ + food. Hope you can use it with your students. Have a nice week, mada :) 

Would you like a/some ...? - boardgame

The given board game can help elementary students practise countable/uncountable nouns and diet vocabulary. 

The amount of players depends on you (2-4 players).

Countable nouns: biscuit, sweet, tomato, potato, egg, chip, apple, orange, strawberry, banana.

Uncountable: salt, meat, cheese, bread, pasta, sugar, milk, cola, chicken, fish, salad.



Much/many/a lot of - board game

Students work in pairs, take turns and debate on the given statements. They must contradict each other, one of them agrees another disagrees. They express their opinions by giving arguments for or against the statement.

DEBATE - Food

Students land on a square and have to say what the container is for the product - e.g. a kilo of meat, a jar of coffee

Boardgame count/uncount

students roll the dice and must say the sentence represented by the picture. Determine if it's A or AN (It's AN orange, It's A dog) before they can play on.

A or AN boardgame

This is the second version of the food game I uploaded minutes ago. I realized on seeing it on the site that I had uploaded the wrong version, the rough one. This can be used in 2 different ways. As a vocab game with younger ones. Or for older students to train with "some" and "any". Step 1: in pairs students decide what's in their fridge. Step 2: another pair of students throw the dice and according to the drawing they get on they ask "Are/ Is there any... in your fridge?" Step 3: the 1st pair must answer "Yes, there are/is some." or "No, there isn't/aren't any." Step 4: the 2nd pair note down the answers. Last step: in the end the 2nd pair must report to the class about what's in the 1st pair's fridge.

This activity can be used as an ice-breaker or to revise food related topics. Students work in groups or pairs, throw the die and interview each other about their preferences in food.

A-Z Lower Case Alphabet - ESL Board Game 

This is a simple 'Do You Like ~?' board game. Students can work in pairs or small groups. They should take turns rolling a die and moving their game piece (eraser, pencil, etc.) When they land on a space, the other stududents can ask 'Do you like ~?' and the student should respond with 'Yes, I like ~.' This game is fun because it can be adapted to any level. For an adult English class, for instance, this can be used as a warm-up game. Advanced students tend to make up their own script (e.g. 'Do you like cake?' 'Yes. I love cake. My favorite cake is chocolate, but I hate strawberry cake.'
