The goals of this lesson are to introduce students to new vocabulary, to improve their listening, speaking, and writing skills, and to practise the target language orally. This is a guess who game board with names and real people. It's great for learning all sorts of nouns and adjectives for describing people. It plays like any other guess who game. This activity is a preparetion for speaking. Ss need to write about the characters in the photos by describing their appearance and guessing their personality. I did this activity by giving them a role of a detective so that they could find out people's personality by just looking at their photo. It may well be adapted as a homework, pairworkspeaking activity etc..
