A sheet for students to read, and then put into practice. Great warm up speaking activity. Teaching students to say how they feel with the rule that they cannot use the word 'fine'. 

Adjectives - How Are You?

Have your students choose describing adjectives from the different boxes and write them under each object. These adjectives are merely meant as suggestions, and the best thing is if they can come up with suggestions of their own. Also have them write down the name of each object.

This can either be used as an individual worksheet, or a basis for a group or class discussion.

What's up? Conversation activity

This will practice students to express their feelings or emotions using the given adjectives guided by emojis. This will also help students to practice conversations with their friends or classmates asking how are they feeling from a certain happening.

Feelings or Emotions

A selection of role play cards set out in 4 sections (symptoms, ailment, how, treatment), divided between a patient who is ill and a medical professional (doctor, nurse, dentist or pharmacist).



Ailments/illnesses include chicken pox, flu, infected piercing, scratch, migraine, allergy, broken rib and broken wrist. 



In pairs students must play either the patient or proffessional and ask each other questions (what symptoms do you have? How did it happen? What treatment do you recommend?) and give answers using the card to guide them.

Learners who can smoothly communicate in every walk of life, read long texts and write well
