Nine speaking cards to talk about hometowns. Eight of them are completed with fantasy names, the ninth one is for students own city/town/village.

A worksheet to practise forming comparative sentences using 'more __ than'  /  '__er than' in the context of comparing lifestyles in the city and in the countryside. Students complete the sentences with the corrective comparative then talk about whether they agree or disagree with the statements.

Our Town is a short story about the things found in a small town such as shops, town hall, people, where to buy things and more. It has a colorful picture for discussion and 17 questions for comprehension. I've added a word search for vocabulary and for fun!
