This is a set of 3 Spot the difference Pictures of a Beach Scene to practice beach vocab.  It also includes 5 Bingo Cards, word cards, letter gap-fill , and word unscramble for spelling practice. It was designed to supplement Family & Friends 1, Unit 15 but could be used with any age.

TEST (A2/B1) - SUMMER CAMPS - version B (special need students)

There are three pictures . The students should write at least 10 statements about the pictures depending on their level.

For example: There is a black bird. Or A black bird is sitting on a high tree. After, the students exchange their worksheet and the partner says if the statements refer to picture, 1, 2, 3 or to all of them.

Picture description  - What happens in which picture? - Summer

Very easy ESL activities to practice the past continuous based on a picture of a beach. The first activity is a Chain game, the teacher begins saying When I went to the beach "somebody" was doing "something", then a student repeats the beginning of the sentences and adds another person. In the second activity the students must write affirmative sentences about the picture. In the third one they must correct the sentences. And in the last one the must write questions or answers. I hope you will find it useful.

What did you pack? Colour the pictures and circle what you packed for your summer trip. This worksheet is a fun activity for the first or second class after summer holidays. It may be used in order to repeat some summer vocabulary or to motivate your students to talk about their summer adventures.
