I Hate Skirts!

Revolving around Clothes, this set of Taboo Cards requires pupils to work in groups of 3 or more. Naturally, mimes and gestures are not allowed as communicative 'props' as pupils describe the piece of clothing on their card. A teacher may optionally join the group with a copy of the game to help, should communicative problems arise as a result of restricted lexical options. In that regard, the cards are numbered to facilitate communication between the teacher and the student. As always, the worksheet is fully editable.

This activity can be used as a warm-up or revision of clothing vocabulary. Students work in pairs or groups, throw a die and ask each other about thier preferences in clothes.

CLOTHES - Board game

It is editable. I run my class by writing the names of the clothing on the board in a mixed order and give colours opposite each word and let students colour accordingly. Young Elementary kids love this. It keeps them busy and happy : ) After colouring each item, I made them write the words in English and Korean next to the picture.
