This is the 1st out of 4 ESL worksheets about BE GOING TO. In this 1st printable students learn the use of this future form for plans and intentions. There is an activity with 2 possible uses to practise this form. Students also learn/review names of shops and the most common buildings in town. Hope you find it useful!

Places In Town # 1 - Plans For the Weekend - BE GOING TO + Instructions

This is the 2nd out of 4 EFL printables about BE GOING TO. In this 2nd worksheet students practise the use of this future form (introduced in the 1st doc: "Going to...places in town!(1/4)" for plans and intentions. There are 2 activities and the explanation about how to use them. Students also learn/review names of shops and the names of some items they can buy there.

Here is a lovely scene set in an English town in the 1950s. Students have to complete the gap-fill and then find the thirteen mistakes. There is a key detailing the mistakes.

Getting Around The City

Students will be asked to select or write down the name of the place that appears in each image. This task will not only help reinforce their knowledge about the city, but will also foster curiosity to explore these places in real life.

There are 17 sentences. Students have to complete them with the names of the shops or places they need to visit in order to get what they want. An exercise suitable for students aged 11-14.
