Students practice using "Prefer." We've been working on the comparative so I encouraged them to make comparative sentences.. but they don't have to. 



Speed Dating using Prefer and Comparatives 

Here we are going to compare jobs, and decide which one is "better." Quite a subjective word, isn´t it? Well, yes, and that´s good because differing opinions can generate a lot of lively discussion in class about what really makes a job good. The money, the enjoyment, the respect? Let the students decide. Get them to explain their choices to each other with a simple "because" clause. Page 1 is a gif file with the original fonts, Page 2 is fully editable. Again, totally fresh material, so it´s for to you to test it. I´d be glad to hear how it works. Enjoy! :)

The objective of the worksheet is for the students to pratice and repeat adjective and adverbs. The exercises are suitable from pre-intermediate to intermediate students. It might also be suitable for upper-elementary students.
