The English Alphabet - POSTER

Identify and circle each letter of the alphabet. Trace and write each letter to practice handwriting. Match uppercase letters with their lowercase counterparts. Associate each letter with a corresponding sound or picture. Arrange letters in alphabetical order by filling in missing letters. Color pictures that start with specific letters of the alphabet.

Alphabet Worksheets

A picture of some naughty puppies in a beautiful living room. The challenge is to find a word for each letter of the alphabet. There may be more than one. Can b used as a time filler or turned into a competition, with points awarded for each word found. Suggested items on page 2.

Color the pictures that has A as their beginning sound. Leave the words that aren't starting with A and just color the ones that starts with letter the letter indicated on the worksheet.

A Sound Coloring Worksheet

Objective: pupils will be able to recognize the vocabulary presented by the pictures, say the words aloud and write the first letter sound on the lines provided below the pictures. They will solidify their handwriting skills in the process. Teachers can ask their pupils to write lower case and uppercase letters, depending on their knowledge.
