Here is a wordsearch grid in which pupils have to find 35 words related to the theme of family , they write them down , translate them in their own language and label the pictures

A word search activity that introduces some vocabulary related to family. Students search for the vocabulary and circle them. This activity is ideal for a warm up activity.

An easy word search for beginners. After the searching I usually ask them to write down the name of the family members. The fastest pupils can colour the picture.

Main grammar points to know: inversion, mixed conditionals, modals in the past, all passive forms, phrasal verbs (all patterns), wish/if only for regrets
